How we see children
Children here are seen as capable. Teachers plan from what each child is already reaching for, using the Learn Every Day Curriculum alongside Reggio Emilia ideas and Montessori elements. The school opened in 2007 and keeps a stable, well-qualified teaching team. Teachers speak with families in English, Spanish and Creole.
In the rooms, materials sit low and within reach, so children choose and return them. Teachers kneel to a child's eye level. They join a small group, watch, then offer one next step. When a child is absorbed, they step back. Questions from parents are answered the same day, plainly.

What you notice in practice

How we work with families
At pickup, a teacher tells you what your child did, not a report card. Questions get answered the same day, in English, Spanish or Creole. Teachers work flexibly with families, and care runs full time or part time. Ask at the desk about anything you need to know.
The first weeks are a time of settling in for both child and family. We encourage parents to share what comforts their child and what the routine at home looks like, so we can bridge the two. Teachers stay close, offering extra reassurance and letting children warm up at their own speed. You can always ask for a quick check-in or more detail if you need it.
